also if you over load with key words does the site get banned from google or does it just drop down the listings,

Fonts are dependent on the web visitors desktop/notebook unless the designer is using something like SIFR. Just use a standard font such as arial, verdana, times, etc.

What you are referring to is "keyword density". You will most likely get banned if you put black text on black background and stuff it with the same keywords over and over. If you are just repeating the words multiple times on the site, I don’t think you will get banned but you will definitely drop in the rankings. If you are not within pages 1-3 you might as well be banned. Your not going to be found strictly based on organic search. On each page you should shoot for around 6 to 12% keyword density on any given page and I personally shoot for 400-800 words on a page — that way you can repeat your primary keywords/phrases multiple times to reinforce their importance without having to go over the "sweet spot" for keyword density. If you go over that, you will most likely drop in the listings. Over 100+ factors involved in organic SEO. Keyword Density is just one of them.

Nope. You have to update your website frequently. Try to add the following in your meta tag:

Link building is the process of acquiring new links to point to your domain or web pages.

Firstly you must know what is meant by "quality links":

-High Pr Links
-Links that are relevant to your website content
-Links from SEO-friendly sites
-Links that are not from bad neighborhood network like FFA sites, Link farms and others
-Preferably one-way link
-Links from a web page that do not consist of more than 50 other sites link

There are many methods that can be used to achieve quality links. I would personally recommend:

- Directory submission
- Article submission
- Press release
- Search engine submission
- Social book marking

Any webmaster that wish to have a successful website or e-commerce must embark on link building campaign. This is because link building will:

- Give you higher search engine ranking
- Provide better Search engine placement result (SERP) for your keywords
- Gradually will give you stronger page rank

So I guess this is a SEO(search engine optimisation) question. When someone searches a web site on a search engine how can bring them closer to being #1 besides meta tags, links..

Aside from Meta Tags and Links, SEO can be a marketing campaign to try and increase traffic from related resources, forums and highly trafficked portals related to the topic of your site.

Advertising can bring in traffic, so can social websites, syndicated articles, blogging and press releases.

As part of any SEO campaign, you want to be well rounded, so a good bit of work on all the fronts is advised rather than just one aspect.

Good copy on your site is also a bonus it is believed that the better the quality of the content the higher the PageRank of the page. So writing original well written and keyword rich content can help.
